The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of registration and scheduling operations within the department. This position entails comprehensive responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Staff management and development
- Process optimization and workflow enhancement
- Effective communication with physicians and staff
- Conducting audits and evaluations
- Monitoring front desk performance metrics
In this role, the supervisor is expected to spend over 75% of their time actively engaged in daily operations, ensuring smooth functionality and high service standards. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, staff, management, and physicians to achieve service excellence.
The Front Desk Supervisor must demonstrate a solid understanding of the IT systems relevant to the department, enabling effective management and problem-solving to enhance patient satisfaction. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for maintaining operational reports that align with established benchmarks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree in Healthcare or a related field
Experience: 2-3 years in a business environment and 1-2 years in front desk operations
Specialized Skills: Proficiency in PC applications, exceptional customer service abilities, team leadership, problem-solving skills, and in-depth knowledge of front desk functions.
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift
Commitments: No weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations.
