Pharmacist Consultant

Military Treatment Facilities under DHA are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team. As a Pharmacist Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on pharmaceuticals and ensuring the highest quality care for patients.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia is also required.

With a strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetics, drug use evaluations, and pharmacotherapeutics, you will be responsible for analyzing patterns and trends to determine appropriate, effective, and economical prescribing and dispensing of drugs. Your expertise will be invaluable in serving on committees, boards, and other bodies representing the pharmacy specialty.

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care. A salary range of $134,000 - $154,000 per year reflects the importance of this role in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
