TK Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting.
Job Summary:
We are a correctional healthcare provider with a regional focus on our clinics in multiple states. Our team oversees the day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,800 inmates. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will have the opportunity to utilize your medical skills to their fullest capacity in a safe, secure, and unconventional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions as needed
- Administer medications, perform lab tests, and provide wound care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
