Agronomy Intern

CSS Farms, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agronomy Intern to join our team in Dalhart, TX. As an Agronomy Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in farm operations, crop management, and research projects.

• Support the Agronomy Team with weekly pest scouting, tissue sampling, crop management, and irrigation scheduling.
• Participate in data collection of R&D test plots and evaluation of on-farm research.
• Assist with irrigation system scheduling and soil moisture management.
• Gain experience in pesticide programs and planning.
• Deliver and present to management a summary of observations from field scouting and R&D efforts.
• Observe field operations as it relates to potato planting, harvesting, etc.

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one and pass vehicle insurance verification.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a high trust, entrepreneurial culture.
