The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and structures within the facility and its surrounding grounds. This position is crucial to the safety of Homeland Vinyl employees and the overall efficiency of the manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing or repairing locks, light bulbs, and other equipment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, with effective communication between shifts.
- Utilize various maintenance tools, such as hand tools, forklifts, measuring devices, blueprints, and other specialized equipment.
- Inspect and test equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems for proper repair.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain supply inventory and report reorder needs.
- Experience with machine repair, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including 12-hour shifts, with a 42-hour workweek.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
