About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and making critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Safe and Effective Patient Care: You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborating with the Healthcare Team: As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, share knowledge, and make informed decisions.
• Providing Education and Support: You will be responsible for educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, as well as providing emotional support and comfort during challenging times.
• Documenting Patient Information: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: You will ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors by following infection control policies, reporting hazards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing, Basic Life Support certification, and additional certifications as required.
