We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Short Stay team at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and surgeries
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- 1 year of experience in cardiovascular nursing
- Experience with pre/post cath lab/EP procedures, PACU recovery, and cardiac surgery admissions
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and float to other units as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- EPIC/CUPID charting experience required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
