The Logistics Center Associate I - Customer Returns position at Karl Storz Endoscopy-America is responsible for utilizing SAP transactions and internal documentation processes to manage the arrival and distribution of materials. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to support the company's continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities- Unpack and sort inbound shipments, verifying products and quantities against invoices or packing slips.
- Identify and document shipping errors and/or damages.
- Process non-inventory SAP receipts and generate and monitor LPNs.
- Oversee inbound/outbound dock lanes and cross-dock operations, scheduling and directing truck drivers as needed.
- Deliver products throughout the Logistics Center and cross-train in other inbound tasks.
- Responsible for the transport and disposal of refuse created during operations.
- Operate battery-powered lift equipment to unload, transport, and deliver inbound material to specific locations within the Logistics Center.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to follow direction and work independently.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong communication skills.
- Team-oriented and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently and occasionally lift between 30-75lbs with assistance.
- Ability to push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance and operate a manual pallet jack.
