Job Description

This role involves working alongside our office manager and clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors to our practice
  • Checking in patients according to our protocol, verifying and updating their information
  • Confirming next day's appointments according to protocol and patient preferences
  • Scheduling patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time
  • Maintaining a professional reception area
  • Managing recall and inactive patient system
  • Collecting payment from patients at the time of service
  • Preparing financial treatment plans and presenting plan options to patients
  • Gathering and verifying patient benefits and maintaining accurate benefit summaries in dental software
  • Opening and closing dental offices according to our protocol
  • Daily cash handling and balancing the day's transactions
  • Submitting insurance claims for completed treatment and prior authorizations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivation, punctuality, and a team player mentality
  • Experience using Open Dental is preferred
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide great medical benefits, including 3 health insurance plans to choose from, vision insurance, PTO, sick days, and no weekends. Our ideal candidate will be hard-working, self-motivated, personable, and interested in developing a rapport with patients to help them improve their oral health.
