About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Meds, a rapidly growing consumer technology firm operating a suite of healthcare businesses. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for our healthcare technology products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications in collaboration with the Lead Product Designer.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and business requirements, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct and assist in user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, driving user-centric design solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency across all products and promoting a cohesive brand experience.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs, meeting our company's standards for excellence.
  • Rigorously test products and features to ensure high-quality user experiences and identify areas for improvement, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support the product strategy by providing design-focused insights and innovative ideas, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
  • Create and manage design documentation and specifications, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the Director of Product and other team leaders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of product design experience, preferably in healthcare technology or related fields, with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills for web and mobile applications.
  • Excellence in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices, with a basic understanding of frontend development principles and limitations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements as they relate to user interface design is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
