Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our treatment team and provide essential medical care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical assessments for patients during the intake process, including taking vitals, interviewing, annotating medical history, and performing drug screenings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on medication adherence and relevant health information, contributing to their overall care plans.
- Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) and reconcile them with records provided by authorized pharmacists.
- Assist with daily operations, including supporting Recovery Support Specialists, handling front desk inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
- Aid in diagnostic tests and procedures, providing essential support to the medical team.
- Offer education and support to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of treatment and recovery.
- Current Practical Nurse license for the state of Indiana.
- 6+ months of experience as a licensed LPN, with a preference for experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings.
- Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
