Busser Job Description

Job Summary:

The Busser is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.



Responsibilities:
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently before, during, and after service periods to maximize table turns and maintain restaurant flow.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set-ups.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas and side stations.
  • Work as a team to assist guests' and team members' needs and inquiries.
  • Ensure necessary stock is replenished during the shift.
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards.
  • Minimum of one year related experience.
  • Proper lifting techniques.
  • Guest relations.
  • Sanitation and safety.
  • Full-service restaurant operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public.
