Core Physicians LLC is seeking a skilled Geriatrician to join our team at our Primary Care facility in Exeter, NH. As a Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to our patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating various health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Services: Provide medical services within the scope of licensing, training, credentialing, and current standards of care and quality.
- Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited medical college/university with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Current board certification/eligibility in geriatrics. If newly graduated from residency, certification must be obtained within three years of graduation.
- Successful completion of internship, residency, and, if applicable, fellowship.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Hampshire.
- Current DEA certificate without restriction.
- CPR with AED within six months of hire.
- Major Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.
- Actively support and work in alignment with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Core Physicians LLC in conjunction with applicable Service Excellence initiatives.
- Complete charting, charge capture, and required paperwork in a timely manner in accordance with Core's policies and guidelines by meeting or exceeding Core Physicians' minimum standards.
- Participate in night and weekend call as indicated within the call group.
- Provide oversight for clinical services at designated locations in conjunction with the practice manager.
- Provide clinical supervision to NPs, PAs, or others as applicable at designated locations.
- Actively participate in business development planning and implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant knowledge base, incorporate new thinking and best practice models into clinical operations and procedures.
- Fully participate in Core's quality and risk management program.
- Fulfill specialty-specific professional responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
