Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Services: Provide medical services within the scope of licensing, training, credentialing, and current standards of care and quality.
  • Requirements:
    • Completion of an accredited medical college/university with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
    • Current board certification/eligibility in geriatrics. If newly graduated from residency, certification must be obtained within three years of graduation.
    • Successful completion of internship, residency, and, if applicable, fellowship.
    • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Hampshire.
    • Current DEA certificate without restriction.
    • CPR with AED within six months of hire.
  • Major Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.
  2. Actively support and work in alignment with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Core Physicians LLC in conjunction with applicable Service Excellence initiatives.
  3. Complete charting, charge capture, and required paperwork in a timely manner in accordance with Core's policies and guidelines by meeting or exceeding Core Physicians' minimum standards.
  4. Participate in night and weekend call as indicated within the call group.
  5. Provide oversight for clinical services at designated locations in conjunction with the practice manager.
  6. Provide clinical supervision to NPs, PAs, or others as applicable at designated locations.
  7. Actively participate in business development planning and implementation.
  8. Stay up-to-date on relevant knowledge base, incorporate new thinking and best practice models into clinical operations and procedures.
  9. Fully participate in Core's quality and risk management program.
  10. Fulfill specialty-specific professional responsibilities.
  11. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
