Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Set up the operating room and ensure all necessary supplies are available to support surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies, maintaining a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of patients during surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Handle specimens taken for laboratory analysis, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure that all surgical instruments are accounted for post-operation, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Assist in maintaining and ordering surgical supplies, ensuring that the operating room is well-stocked and equipped to support surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
