Disaster Case Manager

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice is seeking a Disaster Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management services to disaster survivors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community support services and funding agencies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews to assess immediate and long-term needs
  • Develop disaster recovery plans and assist with accessing resources and services
  • Provide supportive counseling and refer individuals to community resources
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines and participate in community organizations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to function autonomously and be proactive
  • Previous disaster-related experience a plus
