We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Springfield Memorial Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:This is a travel nurse position for a Med Surg RN - Urology/Nephrology role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in medical/surgical nursing and be certified in BLS. The position requires working nights, with the possibility of accommodating 3x12s. The average daily census is 20 beds. The nurse will be required to float to other Medical Surgical units within their scope of practice.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting, with a focus on urology and nephrology.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current IL RN license.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in medical/surgical nursing.
- Certification in BLS.
- Experience with Cerner.
- Ability to work nights, with the possibility of accommodating 3x12s.
- Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units within their scope of practice.
The nurse will work in a 20-bed Med Surg unit, with a focus on urology and nephrology. The unit is equipped with the latest technology and has a team-oriented environment. The nurse will be required to work every other weekend and will not be on-call. The hospital offers free parking and a competitive salary and benefits package.
