  • Administers patient care in accordance with established hospital and departmental standards.
  • Engages patients and their significant others in the care process, providing tailored education based on individual health needs and age considerations.
  • Executes physician orders accurately, ensuring that necessary notifications are made to relevant departments.
  • Licensed Paramedics and LPNs may administer specific medications as per physician orders or established protocols, with certain exceptions.
  • May assist in critical situations such as code blue events and trauma cases upon request.
  • Alerts the RN or Team Lead regarding any changes in patient conditions as necessary.
  • Incorporates age-related factors into patient education, applying relevant knowledge in teaching scenarios.
