- Executes physician orders accurately, ensuring that necessary notifications are made to relevant departments.
- Licensed Paramedics and LPNs may administer specific medications as per physician orders or established protocols, with certain exceptions.
- May assist in critical situations such as code blue events and trauma cases upon request.
- Alerts the RN or Team Lead regarding any changes in patient conditions as necessary.
- Incorporates age-related factors into patient education, applying relevant knowledge in teaching scenarios.
- Upholds patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Takes ownership of assigned patient care, organizing and prioritizing activities effectively.
- Contributes to unit efficiency by supporting colleagues and assisting with patient care tasks beyond the standard Paramedic scope.
