As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering quality care, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel customers on health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
- Maintain Controlled Medication and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, maintain controlled medication, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and Implement Business Solutions: Identify business needs, determine and carry out necessary processes and practices, monitor progress and results, and recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Model Customer Service Approaches: Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
- Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures: Analyze and interpret reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls, oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, develop and implement action plans, and provide direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain Confidential Information and Documentation: Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies, and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
