Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Final Inspector to join our team at HOYA Vision Care. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for inspecting final products (frames and lenses) for any visible irregularities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect final products according to the Final Inspection Release Criteria (SOP#)
  • Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding issues and problems
Secondary Duties
  • Cross-train in other positions (i.e. mounting, etc.)
  • Help in other areas of the department when needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ABO Certification helpful but not required
  • Some optical laboratory experience required
  • One year Mounting experience
  • Knowledge of eyeglass manufacturing process and details of steps involved
  • Ability to read prescriptions
