Job Responsibilities:
As a service technician, your primary duties will include:
- Repairing and replacing tires for commercial and large equipment, conducting fleet inspections, and performing minor maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
- Tire Services: Removing, installing, rotating, balancing, and repairing flat tires for commercial and large equipment, both in the shop and at customer locations.
- Retread Preparation: Discussing tread options with customers, preparing work orders, staging retreads, and managing inventory.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using hydraulic or floor jacks to lift vehicles, operating shop machinery, and maintaining diagnostic tools.
- Reading and executing work orders thoroughly and efficiently.
- Completing all tasks within the company's established time standards.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Commercial Tire Technician position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Commitment to safety in all duties performed.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance standards.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift continuously, with the capacity to lift over 50 pounds.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
