About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Consumer Goods Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Consumer Goods Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling Nestle products into retail and commercial establishments within a specific retailer or commercial grouping. This entry-level sales position requires minimal supervision in the individual retailer or commercial setting. The candidate must be located within 50 miles of Seattle WA.

Key Responsibilities

Sales (40%)
  • Sell Nestle products to retail and commercial establishments
  • Build strong relationships with key customers
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Category Management (25%)
  • Develop and implement category management strategies
  • Manage trade spending and optimize promotional programs
  • Drive sales growth and improve profitability
Trade Marketing (15%)
  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans
  • Launch new products and services
  • Build strong relationships with key customers
Customer Service (15%)
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Address customer complaints and issues
  • Improve customer satisfaction
Team Collaboration (5%)
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of successful Retail Sales and/or Consumer Goods Experience Preferred
  • Typically has a Bachelor's degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Industry / Retail Knowledge preferred
  • Computer skills with Microsoft office applications
  • Open-minded towards new and different ways of doing things
  • Ability to recognize obstacles and involves others to take immediate action to move things forward
  • Demonstrates leadership ability through direct or cross-functional team
  • Ability to learn the role and responsibilities of the position
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision

The approximate compensation range for this position is $60K to $65K.
