About the Job

As a Registered Dental Hygienist with Toothio, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and set your own hourly rate while providing essential dental care. Job Overview

This part-time or full-time position involves conducting patient screenings, cleaning teeth, educating patients on oral health, and assisting dentists with treatment decisions. The ideal candidate should be reliable, trustworthy, and able to build strong relationships with patients of all ages.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
  • Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
  • Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)

Requirements
  • Dental Hygiene license required
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A patient and friendly personality
  • Attention to detail
  • Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
