Job Summary

Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Liaison to serve as a liaison among all levels of Nursing Services, hospital departments, and medical staff. This role requires a strong working rapport to support quality patient care and guest relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication among Nursing Services, hospital departments, and medical staff.
  • Function as the hospital administrative representative in the absence of management.
  • Represent administration in promoting a collaborative approach to problem resolutions.
  • Work with Directors and administrators to resolve problems and improve patient care.
  • Serve as a role model for staff in support of quality patient care and guest relations.
  • Obtain and provide resources and services needed to care for hospital patients.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Associate's degree/diploma in Nursing.
  • 3-5 years' nursing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ACLS required within 2 years of employment.
  • Prefer charge nurse or management experience.
