Job Title: Electronics Assembler

Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team in Austin, Texas. As an Electronics Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality electronic components and assemblies.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have experience in electronic assembly operations, including soldering, wire termination, and assembly of electronic components. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic components, assemblies, and subassemblies using engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations, including wire termination, installation of wire harness, and value torquing.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and improve production processes.
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure conformance to quality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly operations, including soldering and wire termination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of electronic assembly processes and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Knowledge of soldering with wire and experience operating spray guns, air brushes, and stencil cutting machines.
  • Conformal coat, potting, and/or encapsulation experience.
  • Experience with electronic mechanical assembly and ability to perform advanced, diversified solder and electrical/electrical assembly operations.
