About the Job

Dent Wizard is seeking a skilled Automotive Wheel Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for restoring wheels and wheel covers to their original condition using the latest tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and refinish wheels and wheel covers using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and work aids
  • Inspect wheels for damage and determine the best course of action for repair
  • Prep and buff defects, mix colors, and finish to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Work independently on site at customer locations, using a mobile truck to complete repairs
  • Communicate effectively with customers and build strong relationships to drive business growth

Requirements:

  • Auto painting experience or collision repair technical school training preferred but not required
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with customers and build accounts
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to kneel, bend, squat, and climb, as well as lift up to 45 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Compensation:

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This position is primarily paid on a highly incentivized commission structure. The starting compensation is expected to be: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00
