Responsibilities
  • Supporting Our Mission: You'll uphold and promote our company culture and vision by embodying our core values.
  • Continuous Learning: Complete state-mandated continuing education each year to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals.
  • Promoting a Positive Image: Maintain a professional image through your actions and attire.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate positively and effectively with residents, visitors, colleagues, and the community.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain assigned areas, including public spaces and resident rooms, as well as restrooms, floors, and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Vacuuming and Mopping: Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
  • Spot Cleaning: Clean walls, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Dusting and Disposal: Dust furniture and empty trashcans regularly.
  • Assisting with Activity Rooms: Assist with setting up activity rooms, which may require moving furniture.
Qualifications
  • English Language Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of the English language to communicate effectively.
  • Previous Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • General Knowledge: Have general knowledge of housekeeping principles and practices.
  • Equipment Operation: Be able to use all required equipment safely and effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and time management abilities.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Instruction Following: Read, write, and follow oral and written instructions accurately.
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
