Job Summary:

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to A.L.A.R.A. programs and perform all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
  • BLS Certified.
