Cafeteria Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cafeteria Worker to join our team at Framingham Public Schools. As a key member of our food service operation, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, operating cash registers and POS systems, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and meal service
• Operate cash registers and POS systems
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager

Requirements:

• One year of previous food service experience preferred
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods
• Knowledge of food service equipment and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

The Cafeteria Worker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with moderate physical exertion required. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
