Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Kauai County, HI. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering projects and programs that meet the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop engineering projects and programs that meet the needs of our community.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that engineering projects are being implemented correctly.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that engineering projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in civil engineering, including experience in project management and design.
  • Valid professional engineer license in the State of Hawaii.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
