Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Fairview Health Services. This is a casual position based out of our Blaine location, with the primary responsibility of providing athletic training services to a local high school in the Twin Cities Metro Area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training room coverage from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
  • Cover events 2-4 days a week
  • Evaluate athletes for injuries, determine level of care needed, and handle emergent injuries
  • Communicate accurate follow-up care to athletes and families, coaches, and other medical support personnel
  • Coordinate referrals to medical personnel and provide education to improve outcomes
  • Determine playability of injured athletes in both practice and competition
Requirements
  • Board of Certification Certification as an Athletic Trainer
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with the MN Board of Medical Practice
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Membership of the National Athletic Training Association (preferred)
