Job Title: Associate Director of Digital Strategies and Annual Giving

The University of Virginia's College at Wise is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Associate Director of Digital Strategies and Annual Giving. As a key member of the advancement team, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital strategies to engage alumni and friends, drive annual giving, and support the College's fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies to enhance the College's online presence and engagement with key constituents.
  • Manage all aspects of annual giving appeals, including academic and athletic appeals, to build a pipeline of annual support for the College's general operating needs and special projects.
  • Develop compelling annual giving messages and inspire alumni giving campaigns to instill a culture of giving among the student body.
  • Collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and other advancement colleagues on various fundraising projects and advancement-related activities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and meet measurable metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing.
  • High degree of initiative, integrity, excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evening and weekend work, and travel, are required.
