Behavioral Support Specialist
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide clinical support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist BCBAs with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors
- Consultation on ISP Plan Goals/Objectives, as well as environmental supports
- Training, oversight, and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions
- Data collection and inputting data into excel database
- Input notes regarding behavioral services
- Provide specific number of hours of services per consumer in required settings per week
- Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BCBAs' current BSP per Individual

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled clients
- Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience
