The Carbon Operations Team Leader is accountable for the well-being and safety of the team members under their supervision by identifying and mitigating risks and overseeing processes that avert incidents. You will ensure adherence to safe work protocols and address unsafe behaviors in the workplace. Your role will involve setting, communicating, and executing priorities that align with the operational goals of the organization. This individual will mentor and support employees, recommending strategies for improvement while leading and being responsible for the environmental, health, and safety performance of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage and lead team members in process enhancement and rapid problem-solving initiatives.
  • Conduct shift meetings, involving employees in all facets of the operational strategy.
  • Oversee production metrics and information flow to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Uphold all quality, process management, and production standards.
  • Develop, share, and implement best practices across the team.
  • Plan, manage, and execute departmental operational strategies, including scheduling and crew assignments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate expectations and priorities.
