Position Overview:
This role is essential in supporting the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps (CHC) through the development of strategic initiatives, execution of related engagements, and implementation of effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough analyses of Army religious support missions to identify essential capabilities, ensuring that initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.
2. Evaluate transformation plans and activities that may influence Army religious support organizations and their resources, including financial, human, and physical assets.
3. Monitor and assess emerging policies from legislative and defense authorities that could affect the operational capacity of the organization.

Employment Conditions:
This position may require a suitability or fitness determination based on a comprehensive background investigation. It allows for situational telework under specific circumstances. A trial period may be necessary.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel (up to 25%) from the normal duty station is expected. The incumbent must secure and maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications:
This position may be filled as a term appointment, not exceeding two years, with potential extensions. Current permanent Federal employees may transition into this role without returning rights to a permanent position.

Eligibility:
Applicants must meet specific employment authority categories to qualify. This includes 30 Percent or More Disabled Veterans, current Department of Army Civilian Employees, and Military Spouses under certain executive orders.

Experience Requirements:
Applicants should possess one year of specialized experience, which includes:
1. Evaluating strategies to enhance projects and transformation plans.
2. Developing strategic initiatives and communication plans that support organizational missions.
3. Assessing the impact of transformation activities on resources and organizational structure.
