As a School Case RN, you will be responsible for implementing the patient's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician's prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physician, client, family members, and Case Manager on client problems and concerns
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Fingerprinting may be required
