The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments as directed by Radiation Oncologists. This role encompasses all necessary tasks to ensure the precision and quality of the treatments provided.
Educational Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapist Program is mandatory. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Radiation Oncology is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
RT(T) certification is required, along with registration as a Technologist (T).
