Job Title: Senior Chemist II - Hair Color Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist II to join our Hair Color Development research team at L'Oreal USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sustainable hair color products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new hair color formulas and products that meet the needs of our customers
  • Independently manage multiple projects from inception to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of hair color launches
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and consumer needs, and translate this knowledge into technical solutions
  • Provide scientific expertise and guidance to ensure projects run smoothly
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant technical research experience in the personal care or beauty industry
  • Experience with color science, hair science, and/or color theory is preferred
  • BS or Master's degree in a scientific or engineering field
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of product innovation and development processes
  • High level of passion for the beauty industry, specifically color and hair products
