We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Assistant to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical assisting, with a strong background in orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.
  • Identify anatomy within the operative field and maintain positive customer relations.
  • Demonstrate competency and possess the technical skills appropriate for assigned cases.
  • Perform various duties within the scope of responsibility and be accountable to the manager of Surgical Assistants.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of college or specialty school in surgical assisting.
  • NSAA, CFA, -C, or CRNFA certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent eye-hand coordination, and ability to stand for long periods.
  • Sound judgment and knowledge of scientific principles.

Work Schedule:

  • 4-10 hour shifts with 1 overnight call per week.
  • Be on call every 5th weekend.
