SURVICE Engineering Company is currently seeking a skilled Systems Simulation Specialist to support the National Ground Intelligence Center. In this role, you will execute modeling and simulation methodologies using standard and advanced FEA and CFD codes to conduct analyses involving predictions of material/armor performance against various kinetic weapons.
About the Position
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational analysis and experience with industry-standard software, including FEA and CFD codes. You will collaborate with the team to develop and maintain complex geometries at the component and system level.
Responsibilities
- Execute modeling and simulation methodologies using standard and advanced FEA and CFD codes to conduct analyses involving predictions of material/armor performance.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Computational analyst with direct or related experience in FEA and/or CFD in the areas of fragmentation, penetration, armor systems, and/or threat characterization.
- Familiarity with CAD and CAD software packages (e.g., ProE or SolidWorks).
- Experience with CTH (or equivalent hydrocode).
- Experience working in High-Performance Computing (HPC) system environments.
