Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Daily to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
