Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Job Summary:

Interstate Waste Services is a leading provider of solid waste and recycling services in the country. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

* Enter invoices into accounting systems with high accuracy and efficiency
* Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
* Sort and organize mail for data entry
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements:

* 5+ years of professional business experience
* Strong technical/computer skills, including MS Office products
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work comfortably and professionally in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual Spanish is a plus
* Experience with accounting software programs (D365 F&O, Tower, Transman)
