We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technician I to join our team at Sonora Quest. As a Medical Lab Technician I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of laboratory tests, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform waived and non-waived tests in an accurate and timely manner, with supervision.
- Assist with department compliance with laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements.
- Process and prepare patient samples, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification and specimen integrity.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, and participate in the resolution of communication issues.
- Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
- Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation.
- Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and medical terminology.
- Previous experience with phlebotomy and processing.
