Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Respiratory Tech-SPRN to join our team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. As a Respiratory Tech-SPRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer aerosol therapy, chest physical therapy, and oximetry evaluations to non-critical patients.
  • Perform Basic Life Support activities and teach respiratory care activities to patients and their representatives.
  • Clean, assemble, set up, and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Perform non-invasive respiratory care procedures as ordered under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved respiratory care program and completed one semester.
  • Active student status must be maintained and documented.
  • Must submit a letter of recommendation from Program Director for consideration of employment.
  • Must have completed a student respiratory floor therapy rotation.
  • Current certification in BLS required.
  • Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required respiratory care competencies.
  • ACLS required post-completion of second semester of respiratory care program or within 60 days of hire.
