Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan. As a Telemetry Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality in all aspects of your work.

Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor and ensure timely responses to alarms on EKG machines.
  • Verify correct identification of basic rhythms, lethal rhythms, and artifact.
  • Complete EKG interpretations, including rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, QTc, ST segment, waveform alterations, and rhythm interpretation.
  • Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
