Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at DHR Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in a timely and accurate manner, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures
  • Perform quality control and maintenance on equipment
  • Responsible for the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area
  • Accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions
  • Assume responsibility for the collection and processing of patient specimens
  • Complete accurate documentation on patient records according to policy
  • Ensure exams are verified and completed in PACS and RIS systems
  • Train MRI technologists with appropriate procedure protocols
  • Confirm that equipment and supplies are MRI compatible
  • Adhere to MRI safety zones and conduct appropriate MRI screening process per policies and procedures
Requirements
  • At least two years of hospital experience preferred
  • Able to demonstrate high degree of competency and experience with MRI procedures preferred
  • Demonstrates accuracy, and the ability to closely follow established procedures
  • Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment
  • Requires working with frequent interruptions
  • Must project a professional image
Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers. All employees are required to attend the DHR C.A.R.E. program which outlines the Customer Service Principles including Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.

Age Specific

Employees must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit.
