Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Float Pool

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Brightwater. As a Float Pool LPN, you will provide professional and restorative nursing services to our residents, working on an as-needed basis at either the Brightwater or Lakes at Litchfield campuses.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform resident assessments, record vital signs, and administer medications and treatments.
  • Keep timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports to ensure quality care is provided.
  • Interact with residents' physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Participate in in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work:

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.

Travel:

No regular travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
