We are seeking a qualified Part Time Student Health Services Nurse to join our team at Penn State University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care services to students, collaborating with faculty and departmental staff to develop and sponsor health and wellness educational programs, and serving on various campus committees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Counseling and Student Disability Resources
- Interview, assess, and treat patients using established protocols
- Render emergency care as indicated by the protocol
- Refer patients for further care or services as needed
- Maintain required documentation and records
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher (Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred)
- Current Pennsylvania licensure, in good standing, as a Registered Nurse with four years of related nursing experience
- Medical office experience and experience with and an interest in working with the 18-25-year-old patient population
