Job Description

We're seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of mobile developers in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment. You will set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a team of mobile developers
  • Set the strategy and build a roadmap for the team
  • Create measurable goals and lead the team to deliver
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs and be a strong technical mentor
  • Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members
Requirements:
  • Background in shipping mobile software on iOS, Android, or both
  • Experience leading an engineering team
  • Ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative environments
  • Experience building low-level frameworks for large-scale mobile software development
  • Experience with mobile or embedded performance optimization
  • Experience leading platform teams that drive technical change across large engineering organizations

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
