Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Therapy: Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions to address identified speech and language disorders.
- Individualized Education Plans: Develop and present individualized education plans to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders involved in student evaluations.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns, and provide guidance on best practices for supporting students with speech and language disorders.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload, and provide regular progress reports to parents.
- Caseload Management: Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Qualifications: Oregon SLP license, with up-to-date knowledge of Oregon Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
