Overview

At CommonSpirit Health, we are committed to building healthy communities and advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in this mission by performing diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level. This position requires a strong understanding of general and cross-sectional anatomy, as well as physiology.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work closely with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure that diagnostic imaging procedures are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Less than one year of experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Color Doppler, and Neurosonography
  • BLS Certification
  • ARDMS certification and CPR certification required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients, staff, and physicians
  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills

This position is represented by SEIU LocalUHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
